Cindy Bohland received her B.S. in Biology with honors from the University of South Carolina in 1991. After studying cell and developmental biology at the University of Washington in Seattle for a year, she moved to North Carolina and completed coursework to receive a teaching license in biology. Cindy worked at Hunt High School in Wilson, North Carolina for six years teaching biology, AP Biology, chemistry, and environmental science. In 2001, Cindy, her husband Jon, and their two cats moved to Roanoke. Cindy began teaching at RVGS in the 2002-2003 school year. In May 2005, she received her Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies from Hollins University.
