Recruitment for the 2022-23 School Year

Students and their parent/guardian should join and watch the session together. The student will need access to a separate device to join a student Q&A session toward the end of the main session. The link for the student Q&A session will be provided during the presentation.

Watching this video can be a substitute for attending the sessions in real-time for families with scheduling conflicts or technical problems during the scheduled sessions. The student Q&A sessions are only available during the live sessions.
New Student Admissions Process
The admissions process begins by attending one of the informational sessions during the month of January, listed below. Students should attend with at least one parent/guardian.
Due to projected pandemic numbers for the winter, the three sessions originally scheduled to be held at RVGS will take place online. The online sessions will be conducted live and will emulate the typical in-person meetings, with prospective students having the chance to talk to current RVGS students and parents having a Q&A opportunity with RVGS administration. The meeting link for these sessions is provided under "Recruitment for the 2022-23 School Year" on this page. A meeting recording will also be available following the January 11 online session. The sessions scheduled to take place at Franklin County High School and Staunton River High School will proceed in-person at those locations as scheduled.

After participating in a live session or watching the recording, prospective students will register to receive a digital copy of the application, and the application process will be explained during the informational meetings. The deadline for application submission is February 1. Applications should be submitted to the student's current school counselor.
